Accuracy and [jewellery scales]

The jewellery trade relies on absolute accuracy in terms of weight and thanks to the movements in electronics and the modernisation of weighing technologies, jewellers are able to trade in jewels whilst saving time, and increasing precision, therefore saving money. Jewellers use specific [jewellery scales] to help them in their trade, and what makes [jewellery scales] unique is that they weigh in carats so that they can weigh gold, silver, diamonds and other jewels.

“Jewellery scales” can be very small or [jewellery scales] can be very large. Some
[jewellery scales] are able to weigh huge amounts of jewels for high street jewellers. For example HS Samuel and Ernest Jones. The largest [jewellery scales] used are for business to business purposes and for supplying their retail outlets rather than the [jewellery scales] used in the shops. By the time jewels have reached their end retail destination the jewels have most likely become jewellery. They are unlikely to be supplied to the customer as standalone jewels.
